Teachers are supported through weekly professional development activities and we have a strong culture of professional learning communities. Staff come together to collaborate and develop each other’s skills, share evidence-based practices and review our pedagogy and practice.

Coaching and Mentoring is offered across all curriculum areas as well as pedagogy and practice. There is opportunity for leadership roles across the school with added responsibilities for leading and co-ordinating different aspects of school life.

St Gabriel’s provides a high-quality innovative education to our students, with high expectations across all Key learning areas, social emotional growth and behaviour. The students are given opportunity to provide service to the community through our Gabes give Back program and staff are also encouraged to support the community through a variety of community-based initiatives.
The school takes the implementation of curriculum and learning seriously and offers a model of schooling like all other schools. The secondary model provides students with a traditional high school model where the students start the day in homeroom and then transition to different specialist teachers and facilities for each subject. The students in our primary school start the day with homeroom and then stay with their class teacher except for specialist subject – Art, Music and PE where they taught by a specialist teacher.
Our goal is to prepare our students for life after school and we offer both VET and eVET courses in Stage 6 to support our students to develop their vocational goals.

You will work in the state of the art brand new facilities, there are specialist rooms such as Science labs, Hospitality, Art Studio and Music room along with a TAS room and a gymnasium. All classrooms have access to a break out space for small group learning and interactive touch screen panels.
There is onsite parking also available.
Teachers have a dedicated space for breaks that is away from students where they can relax and take a break.
