Abilities Brew is a fully functioning mobile coffee van business that operates as part of our hospitality and work education program.

Students taking part in Year 11 and 12 Hospitality get to work on the coffee van as part of their training hours and to gain valuable work experience to give students more opportunities for employment and prepare them for post-school life.

The van is staffed by 2-3 students and 1-2 teachers. It serves all styles of coffee, with varying milk options, as well as hot chocolate and chai latte. We also offer bottled cold drinks and packaged snacks (cookies, cakes, chips). We take cash and eftpos and can also run a tab for you to shout your guests a hot drink.

Just so you know, you’re not just buying a coffee.

The profit from each cup goes back into education programs which support post-school employment and transition for our students with disabilities.

Abilities Brew is just one way that we are nurturing independence and bridging the gaps for our students with disabilities.

Did you know? Workforce participation for people with disability is 53.4%, compared to 84.1% of people the same age without a disability.

We are currently not hiring out Abilities Brew. We will let you know if this changes in the future.
