At St Gabriel's, inclusive education means every student is welcomed, valued, and supported to achieve their personal best. Our specialist staff work with each family to develop individual learning plans that meet the unique needs of every child, ensuring they can participate fully in school life.
Our multidisciplinary team includes speech pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and specialist teachers who collaborate daily to support students with complex needs. Support is always tailored, evidence-based, and delivered in partnership with families.
We provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and psychology services on site. These are integrated into the school day so students receive consistent, coordinated support without disrupting their learning time.
Families receive regular updates through our parent portal, termly progress reports, and scheduled meetings with the student's key teacher. Our staff are also available via phone and email for any questions or concerns that arise between meetings.

“While St Gabriel's has gone through a number of changes over its hundred years, its mission today is still the same nurturing independence and transforming the lives of students with disabilities.”

Our school motto is ‘Nurturing Independence, Transforming Lives’. Our mission is to develop independence and confidence in our students, giving them opportunities to thrive. Our parents, carers and families are as much a part of our school community and mission in helping the children.
“Maths can feel challenging, but with steady support and small steps, every child can succeed and feel proud of their progress.”
